So yeah - check that title. Pretty sweet right? I had no idea if I could do it! But I was able to pull through.
Last May I applied to a job posting for an Embedded Software Engineer at Google that was based in Austin. Shortly after that, I got a recruiter email and the process kicked off. After 3 months of intense interviews, I was able to get in. I matched with a systems software engineering team in Sunnyvale California and have been working here for about 3 months now.
When I enrolled in my Masters program at Georgia Tech, I never fully knew what it'd get me. I thought I'd end up working in tech in some fashion, at some company, and work on some complex tech stack, but I feel like I've really outdone myself with the current job. Being able to work on developing Google's AI infrastructure is something that I never could've dreamt of, but that's the current situation I'm in. Somehow.
I'm loving my new job and team and very much looking forward to the future.
